MEDIATION IN RENT DISPUTES

On September 1, 2023, the mediation process in rental disputes was launched.
As of this date, it is mandatory to apply to a mediator in rental disputes before a lawsuit is filed.
The mediation process lasts a maximum of 1 month. It basically consists of 2-3 meetings.
Only after the completion of the mediation procedure, if there is no agreement, a lawsuit can be filed with the court.
Some of the lawsuits filed after enforcement proceedings in rental disputes are not included in the mediation process.
